Facebook user Dien Tai shows off his killing wild animals

On December 10, Facebook user Dien Tai posted several photos of killed monkey, bird, fawn and prepared food. He even commented that "I love the rural life. It's warm, simple and fun."

Many people expressed anger at the photos of the dead animals. Some people also told the man to take down the photos to no avail. The man continued to brag that all of the animals had been eaten and he would be fine because he only showed few photos.

Hoang Quoc Huan, head of Ha Tinh Province Forest Ranger Unit said they had received the news and asked the forest ranger unit in Huong Khe District to work with local police to investigate and report back by December 23.

"If this is proven true, wildlife poachers will be punished in accordance with the laws," he said.

This is not the first time animal cruelty has shown on Facebook. In November, local authorities in Phu Quoc Island District in Kien Giang Province also started the search for five local fishermen whose photos showing them killing a dolphin were shared Facebook.
