The National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting said northern Vietnam and areas from Thanh Hoa to Ha Tinh would see sunny days, with isolated evening and overnight showers and thunderstorms on October 25-26.

From the afternoon of October 26 to October 29, scattered showers and thunderstorms, with locally heavy rain, are forecast from Thanh Hoa to Hue as a weak cold air mass moves into the region.
Elsewhere, conditions are expected to remain largely sunny during the day, with isolated overnight showers. Southern Vietnam could see scattered showers and thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening.
Meanwhile, the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) reported that a tropical storm named In-Fa had formed in the northwestern Pacific, becoming the 32nd named storm in the region during the 2026 typhoon season.
In-Fa is forecast to strengthen over the coming days, with winds potentially reaching 150-183 km/h, equivalent to levels 14-15 on Vietnam's wind force scale.
Weather agencies forecast that the storm may remain outside the South China Sea, known in Vietnam as the East Sea.
