The boxes, each consisting of two Covid-19 test kits, were labelled as Q Standard Covid-19 Ag Home Tests from South Korea. The batch was found in the car which was parked at an apartment building on Phung Chi Kien Street on Monday.

However, when being asked by police, the car owner whose name has not yet been disclosed failed to present any accompanying proof of purchase or certificate of origin for the products.
Currently, a rapid Covid-19 test kit box with the Ag Home Test brand is priced at around VND420,000-500,00, with the batch worth VND170-200 million.
Further investigations into the case are being conducted.
Earlier, Hanoi authorities also discovered 29 boxes of made-in-China Covid-19 quick test kits at a medical equipment store in Hanoi's Hoang Mai District; but the store owner could not show any papers to prove their point of origin.
