Vietnam Summer Camp 2026 to welcome 105 overseas Vietnamese youths

More than 100 overseas Vietnamese youths and students from 35 countries and territories will take part in the Vietnam Summer Camp 2026 from July 12-25, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The programme will bring together 105 participants for a 14-day tour across Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Hue, Danang, Gia Lai and Khanh Hoa.

Participants will visit some of Vietnam's best-known cultural heritage sites, including UNESCO-listed attractions such as the Complex of Hue Monuments, My Son Sanctuary and Hoi An Ancient Town, while learning about the country's history, culture and Vietnamese language.

The event lso includes visits to the Ho Chi Minh Relic Site in Hanoi, Kim Lien Relic Site in Nghe An, memorial sites for fallen soldiers, and the Hoang Sa Exhibition House and Nha Trang Oceanography Institute, alongside cultural, sports and language activities.

A highlight of this year's programme will be exchanges with distinguished overseas Vietnamese intellectuals and artists, including Professor Thai Kim Lan from Germany and artist Le Ba Dang from France.

Organised annually since 2004, the Vietnam Summer Camp aims to strengthen ties between young overseas Vietnamese and their ancestral homeland while promoting Vietnamese cultural identity.

The camp will open in Hanoi on July 13 and close in Nha Trang on July 24.
