The Danang Tourism Promotion Centre announced the year-end programme on October 27, with activities celebrating local heritage, traditional culture and the New Year.
The Hoi An International Lantern Festival, themed 'Hoi An-Colours of Heritage', will run from December 3 to 6 at Hoai River Square, An Hoi Sculpture Garden and streets throughout the ancient town.
Visitors can explore lantern art installations, join lantern-making workshops, sample local cuisine and enjoy cultural performances.

From November 20 to December 5, Hoi An Ward will hold activities marking Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day, including exhibitions of photographs and documents about the UNESCO-listed ancient town.
The programme will also feature the inauguration of the restored Hoi An Prison historical site, celebrations of the 27th anniversary of Hoi An's UNESCO World Heritage recognition and the 40th anniversary of its heritage conservation organisation.
Meanwhile, the 2026 Culture and National Unity Week will take place from November 18 to 24, marking its first city-wide edition.
Events at Tien Son Sports Palace, Hoi An, My Son, Kham Duc and various museums and public spaces will showcase folk music, traditional dances, costumes, cuisine, games and handicrafts.

At the My Son temple complex, the 'Echoes of My Son' performances on November 15 and December 15 will recreate traditional Cham dances, folk songs and rituals.
New Year celebrations will begin on December 30 along Bach Dang Walking Street, near Dragon Bridge and at several locations across Danang.
A large-scale Da Nang Concert, featuring well-known singers and performers, is scheduled for January 1, 2027, at the Danang Museum.
Tourism officials expect the events to diversify visitor experiences, promote local heritage and strengthen Danang's appeal during the year-end holiday season.
More flights planned for year-end visitors
Danang expects to handle around 12,200 flights carrying 2.1 million passengers in the fourth quarter of 2026.
New or resumed international routes to Singapore, Bangkok, Osaka and Jakarta are planned, alongside additional charter flights.
Airlines and tourism businesses are also introducing promotional offers. Sun PhuQuoc Airways, for example, is offering a 30 per cent discount on Danang-Phu Quoc flights for bookings made between October 15 and November 1, with travel available until November 10.
According to the Central Vietnam Hydrometeorological Station, Danang is expected to experience relatively cool weather through November, with many days of light rainfall or dry conditions and occasional sunshine.
However, cold spells could bring rain, lower temperatures and stronger winds.
