Ca Mau unveils five tours for Shrimp Festival 2026

Ca Mau Province has announced five new tourism programmes and plans to enlist at least 10 businesses in promotional offers to attract visitors during the second Ca Mau Shrimp Festival in 2026.

The provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said on October 27 that it had launched a tourism promotion plan linked to Vietnam Culture Day on November 24 and the shrimp festival.

At least 10 tourism businesses and service providers are expected to offer discounts on accommodation, dining, transport and attraction tickets.

Participating businesses will announce their discounts, validity periods and booking conditions, with priority given to packages for visitors staying at least two nights or booking organised tours.

The five tours include a one-day trip to Dat Mui, a one-day U Minh excursion, a two-day, one-night festival and Dat Mui package, a three-day, two-night itinerary covering Bac Lieu, Hiep Thanh, Dat Mui and U Minh, and a tour exploring local culture, cuisine and shrimp farming.

Tourism information booths are also planned at festival venues, offering details of itineraries, promotions and participating businesses. QR codes will allow visitors to access information directly.

Through the initiative, Ca Mau aims to attract more visitors, encourage longer stays and strengthen cooperation among tour operators, hotels, restaurants, transport providers and tourist attractions.
