The list was announced on October 23 at Loc Yen Ancient Village and Bai Say-Song Dam, both among the selected destinations.
Huynh Thi Huong Lan, deputy director of the Danang Tourism Promotion Centre, said the city's appeal extended beyond its beaches, landmarks and urban attractions to its cultural heritage, local cuisine, natural landscapes and everyday community life.

Launched in April, the programme received more than 1,500 nominations from residents, tourists, businesses and local communities. Of these, 477 eligible entries were put to a public vote, attracting more than 42,000 votes.
The final 100 experiences were grouped into six themes: Identity, Taste, Untouched Nature, Tranquillity, Moments and Everyday Life.
Highlights include Thanh Ha Pottery Village, Danang Museum and Dragon Bridge, alongside basket boat rides through coconut forests, fishing trips with local fishermen, Loc Yen Ancient Village and Son Tra Peninsula.
Rather than ranking attractions, the initiative aims to encourage visitors to explore Danang through themed journeys combining heritage, traditional crafts, food, nature and community experiences.
Following the announcement, journalists and content creators visited Loc Yen Ancient Village and Bai Say-Song Dam to explore opportunities for linking individual attractions into broader tourism itineraries.
The city's tourism sector plans to use the list to develop new products, promote lesser-known destinations and encourage longer stays.
Following administrative boundary changes, Danang's tourism landscape now extends from coastal and urban areas to heritage sites, rural villages, mountains and waterways.
Authorities expect the initiative to diversify tourism offerings while supporting the preservation of local culture, natural heritage and community traditions.
