Standing 1.77 metres tall, Tra My studied in Australia and has experience working as a bilingual master of ceremonies at corporate conferences and diplomatic events. In 2025, she competed in The TVFace, a television presenter contest. She now runs a media company while pursuing postgraduate studies in business administration at Edgewood University in the United States.
From the early stages of the competition, Tra My was considered a strong contender thanks to her stage presence, educational background and English communication skills.
During the final, she impressed the judges through successive performance rounds to secure a place among the leading contestants. In the top-five question-and-answer round, she was asked what she would introduce about the traditional Quan ho folk singing of Bac Ninh Province if she became a tourism ambassador.
Tra My answered confidently in both Vietnamese and English and performed a short excerpt of Quan ho on stage. Her response showcased her communication skills, cultural knowledge and ambition to promote Vietnam's traditional heritage to international audiences.

The judging panel was led by Nguyen Thi Thuy Nga, chairwoman of the Miss Charm Organisation. Other judges included Miss Charm 2024 winner Rashmita Rashindran, Miss Charm 2025 winner Anna Blanco and Bui Quynh Hoa, Miss Universe Vietnam 2023.
Miss Charm Vietnam 2026 was the first edition of the competition to use a selection-based format. Held under the theme "Beauty Born from Culture", the pageant aims to identify a modern Vietnamese woman who is confident, knowledgeable, resilient and capable of promoting the country's cultural values.
With her victory, Tra My will represent Vietnam at Miss Charm 2026, taking the next step towards the international beauty pageant stage.
