The 12th Buckwheat Flower Festival will open at 8 pm on October 25 at Thanh Nien Square in Dong Van Commune, featuring traditional and contemporary performances under the theme 'Echoes of the Rocky Plateau'.
The festival will feature cultural exchanges, traditional crafts, sporting events, food experiences and trade fairs across the UNESCO Global Geopark.

Activities include a Lo Lo ethnic cultural festival and Vietnam-China cultural exchange on October 23, alongside exhibitions of local agricultural products and One Commune One Product (OCOP) goods in Dong Van's old quarter from October 21-25.
A rock music show is scheduled for October 31, while a Vietnam-China international trade fair featuring around 300 stalls will take place in Tuyen Quang from November 5-11.
November will also feature a regional food festival and an open table tennis tournament.
Visitors can take part in traditional games, explore ethnic handicrafts such as hemp weaving, indigo dyeing and brocade embroidery, and sample local dishes made from buckwheat.
Buckwheat flowers are expected to reach peak bloom during the festival's opening week.
To extend the flowering season, buckwheat has been planted in three phases across approximately 400 hectares, with blooms expected from October through December.
Flower fields are located along National Highway 4C and near popular attractions including Tham Ma Pass, Lung Cu, Lo Lo Chai Village, the Vuong Family Mansion and the Nho Que River.
Visitors can combine flower viewing with traditional games and cultural experiences in the highlands.
The festival aims to promote sustainable community tourism while showcasing the landscapes, traditions and ethnic cultures of the Dong Van Karst Plateau.
