Police also verified and handled 2,864 additional violations based on reports submitted by the public through digital platforms.

More than 369,000 cars, 1.83 million motorcycles and 4,900 specialised vehicles were newly registered during the reporting period, bringing the national vehicle fleet to 7.13 million cars, 84 million motorcycles and 112,163 specialised vehicles.

Traffic police also auctioned 30,651 car licence plates and 56,345 motorcycle plates, generating about VND 2.54 trillion (around USD 96.5 million) in state revenue.

The department said it would continue expanding the use of digital technology and AI to improve traffic enforcement, road safety and public services.
