Hai Duong’s third field hospital put into operation

The third field hospital in the northern province of Hai Duong, Vietnam's biggest Covid-19 epicentre at present, has been officially put into operation.

Hanoi students will return to school from March 2 as the city’s Covid-19 situation has been brought under control.

Under the decision signed by Chu Xuan Dung, vice chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee, students from nursery and high-school levels. Meanwhile, local colleges and universities are permitted to be reopened from March 8.

Earlier, the city issued a decision to close educational institutions from February 15 to February 28 as a Covid-19 prevention and control measure.

On February 24, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training proposed for schools to reopen from March 2.

Hanoi has seen no new locally-originated Covid-19 cases over the past 15 days.
