Le Anh Tuan, director of the national park, said the animals included a red-faced monkey weighing about 7 kg and a pig-tailed macaque weighing about 3 kg. Both were found to be in good health.

The monkeys were handed over by two residents of Vinh Tuong Commune after they contacted local authorities on Monday.
Park officials praised the residents' actions, saying they reflected public awareness of wildlife protection and contributed to biodiversity conservation.
The animals will remain under observation and receive care before being released if they are deemed fit for life in the wild.
The park also urged the public to notify forest rangers or local authorities if they find wild animals, rather than keeping, trading or transporting them illegally.
