The city has approved the winning architectural design for Kenh Ngang 2 Bridge in Phu Dinh Ward and is preparing a design contest for Kenh Ngang 3 Bridge.

Roads along the northern bank of Doi Canal in Phu Dinh and Chanh Hung wards are cut off by several smaller canals. New bridges and canal-side upgrades are expected to improve road links.
Work on Hiep An 2 Bridge, linking the two wards, began in August 2025. The main structure is complete, with work under way on the approach roads.
Kenh Ngang 1 Bridge, linking Nguyen Duy and Hoai Thanh streets, is also under construction. The 150-metre-long, 10.5-metre-wide bridge will cost about VND 90 billion and is expected to be completed in early 2027.
Kenh Ngang 2 Bridge will link Hoai Thanh and Luu Huu Phuoc streets. The 400-metre-long, 10.5-metre-wide bridge will cost about VND 350 billion, with construction expected to begin in late 2026 following the selection of a design by the FAS-MAKHUYA-DVT consortium.
Plans are also under way for the 400-metre-long, 10.5-metre-wide Kenh Ngang 3 Bridge on Luu Huu Phuoc Street, with an estimated investment of VND 350 billion. An architectural design contest is being prepared.
