During the meeting, city officials discussed Danang’s advantages and development plans for its high-tech industries with ASCO representatives. The city aims to attract investment in projects featuring advanced technology, high added value and the potential to become deeply integrated into global supply chains.
Under an agreement signed in July between ASCO Industries and the Danang Hi-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Authority (DSEZA), the company plans to build a 6,000-square-metre factory producing aircraft components, with an initial investment of USD 20 million. Total investment could eventually reach USD 100 million.
Morhet is scheduled to meet Danang officials in early December to discuss implementation of the factory project, which is expected to begin operations in 2027.
ASCO Industries operates in the aerospace sector, specialising in the manufacture of high-precision structures and components for aircraft production.
