The three men, Weng Rongshu (born 1969), Jiang Yuanping (born 1996) and Li Hejie (born 1995), were arrested during the fraud investigation. Police said all three were wanted by Chinese authorities.

The handover was carried out in accordance with Vietnamese law under strict security measures to ensure the safety of personnel and those involved.

Authorities said the operation reflected close coordination among relevant agencies in combating transnational crime and implementing international agreements on extradition and the transfer of offenders.
