Dong Nai to ease social distancing

Dong Nai originally planned to lift restrictions after September 15. However, according to the new plan, Dong Nai will gradually reopen in green zones after September 20. Businesses can open from 6 am to 6 pm and restaurants are only allowed to offer takeaway services. Travel restrictions are lifted for residents who have been fully vaccinated in green zones.

Firms must try to maintain the stay-at-work programme as long as possible to prevent the virus from spreading. Firms that cannot arrange a stay-at-work plan must have shuttle buses to pick up and drop off workers in the green zones. All workers must have had the first vaccine shot.

Construction, agriculture, and transportation activities will be resumed in green zones, however, the culture, sports and tourism sectors will still be suspended.

Social distancing will be maintained in high-risk areas until further notice.

It is hoped that by reopening the economy in the Covid-free zones, it will help ease pressure on the government and Covid-19 prevention tasks in the high-risk areas will be tightened.
