Speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony, Editor-in-Chief of Dantri/Dtinews Newspaper, Pham Tuan Anh, sincerely thanked donors and local authorities for their co-operation and support with the newspaper to carry out the housing project for low-income people.

"As a publication of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, Dantri Newspaper has set a target of building 100 new houses for disadvantaged people nationwide worth VND5 billion (USD200,000) between 2024 and 2025," Anh said. So far, Dantri has supported the construction of 68 houses, 42 of which have been completed."
Attending the event, the chairman of Lam Binh District People's Committee, Le The Dat, expressed his gratitude for Dantri and donors' support to the local people.

"The new houses are valuable and meaningful gifts for low-income people who had suffered lots of property losses and housing damage in recent natural disasters," he said.
The family of Ma Thi Dinh, 40, was among five households that received support to build their new house. On behalf of the families receiving the donations, Dinh sincerely thanked Dantri, local authorities, and all the kind donors for helping them build their houses this time.
Dantri Newspaper also presented each family with a rice cooker, a speed-boil electric kettle, and two blankets at the event.
