The USS Theodore Roosevelt docked at Tien Sa Port at around 9:30 am along with cruiser USS Bunker Hill and a destroyer.

This has been the second US aircraft carrier to dock in Vietnam since March 2018.
Representatives from the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Danang authorities were present to welcome the aircraft carrier.
During the stay in Danang, US officers and crew members will attend various meetings and events, play sports with their Vietnamese naval counterparts and participate in community activities.
The USS Theodore Roosevelt is the fourth Nimitz-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier in the United States Navy.
