Following the final, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) awarded the team VND 4 billion (about USD 153,000), bringing the federation's total bonuses for the tournament to VND 11.8 billion (about USD 451,000).
The VFF had previously awarded VND 2.3 billion (about USD 88,000) for advancing from the group stage, VND 3 billion (about USD 115,000) for reaching the final, and VND 2.5 billion (about USD 96,000) after Vietnam's first-leg victory at Bangkok's Rajamangala Stadium on August 22.
In addition to VFF incentives, the team received further rewards from sponsors and football benefactors.
Before the second leg of the final, a long-time VFF sponsor announced a bonus of VND 500 million (about USD 19,000).
A prominent Vietnamese football investor also pledged a total of VND 6 billion (about USD 229,000), including VND 2 billion (about USD 76,000) for Vietnam's 3-0 victory over Indonesia in the group stage, VND 2 billion for eliminating Malaysia in the semi-finals and another VND 2 billion for defeating Thailand in the final.
Winning the ASEAN Cup also earned Vietnam a prize of USD 300,000 from the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF).
Players are expected to receive additional bonuses under Vietnam's sports reward regulations. The championship title qualifies registered squad members for state-funded awards worth VND 40 million (about USD 1,530) each, equivalent to around VND 1 billion (about USD 38,000) for a 25-player squad.
Taken together, the confirmed rewards amount to nearly VND 30 billion (about USD 1.15 million) for the team's success at the 2026 ASEAN Cup.

The final figure could rise further, as additional sponsorship bonuses remain possible. Individual players may also receive separate rewards from their clubs and local authorities in recognition of their contributions to Vietnam's regional triumph.
