More than 200 hectares of agricultural and forest land were affected, including over 143 hectares of rice and other crops and more than 56 hectares of planted forest. In Cau Thia alone, 76 hectares of ripening rice were flooded or flattened.

The storms also disrupted infrastructure. About 20 cubic metres of mud and debris spilled onto National Highway 279 in Duong Quy, temporarily blocking traffic, while fallen trees damaged power lines in parts of Tram Tau Commune.

Several school buildings were damaged, along with about 200 square metres of roofing at a local cooperative's workshop.

Local teams were deployed to help residents repair roofs, clear fallen trees and remove debris from roads, while work was under way to restore power and repair damaged schools.

Local agencies were also assisting the injured and helping residents harvest and restore damaged crops.
