At a meeting on October 19, provincial Vice Chairman Nguyen Hong Hai instructed relevant agencies to finalise planning proposals for the proposed Light Park in Xuan Huong-Dalat Ward.

The plans must integrate landscaping, architecture and transport infrastructure while ensuring smooth traffic flow and reducing congestion as surrounding residential and commercial areas develop.
Hai also called for a review of how water features could be incorporated into the park, alongside commercial facilities and architectural landmarks.
A proposed light tower should complement the surrounding landscape and give the park a distinctive identity, he said.
Authorities were also instructed to carefully assess building density, height restrictions and architectural designs to ensure compliance with existing planning regulations.
The proposed park is located near Ong Dao Bridge, next to Dalat Night Market, one of the city's main tourist attractions.
Plans envisage landscaped public spaces combining water features, greenery and transport infrastructure, with underground levels accommodating commercial services, a night market and parking facilities.
The project is intended to create a new public attraction while supporting Dalat's night-time economy.
Its size, investment arrangements and construction timetable have yet to be finalised, with further studies under way.
