Following inspections and verification, the head of Market Surveillance Team 5 issued administrative fines against the businesses for displaying counterfeit trademarked goods for sale, totalling VND 6 million. The provincial market surveillance authority said it would step up inspections and market monitoring, while strengthening coordination with law enforcement agencies and intellectual property rights holders to detect and strictly handle violations, stabilise the market and protect consumer interests.
