The move came after a clip about the traffic violations was published on the internet by a driver named Viet Anh Phan.

One of the five cars which drove the entire length of Nhat Tan Bridge in the wrong way
Driver Viet Anh Phan said that at around 1 pm on April 6, while driving on the bridge, he had to avoid a Toyota Innova going in the opposite direction. Just some seconds after that, he met four consecutive cars all driving in the wrong direction, including one state-owned blue-number plated car.Earlier in February this year, the National Traffic Safety Committee asked Hanoi police to investigate a state-owned blue number-plated car which was found travelling along a lane reserved for the bus rapid transit.
The case was detected after a clip showing the violation posted by a Facebook user went viral. The car bearing a blue-coloured license plate with the number 29A-016.46 was caught running at high speed on the wrong side of the bridge.
