The prime minister has urged the four localities of Hanoi, HCM City, Haiphong and Nam Dinh to report on prostitution situation before July 5.

The report includes difficulties facing the localities as well as their recommendations.
According to the PM, recently, prostitution-related crimes tend to be on the rise. The government leader has called on the ministries of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, Public Security, Information and Communications and Culture, Sports and Tourism to jointly boost activities on prostitution prevention and control laws.
The PM has also requested on urgent check on the prostitution situation and tightening control over services which are easily taken advantaged for prostitution activities.
At a recent prostitution forum held by the Department for Social Evil Prevention, representatives from Haiphong and Nam Dinh said that authorities had detected several sex workers in Do Son and Quat Lam.
