Thanh Hoa Provincial Department of Health announced that people who returned from wards, communes, residential areas that have outbreaks will be transferred to quarantine centres. Thanh Hoa hasn't had any plan to quarantine all people returned from Hanoi and Quang Ninh.

Thua Thien-Hue Province ordered a 21-day quarantine and tests from February 3 for people returned from Quang Ninh and Hai Duong as well as the locked-down areas in Hanoi. People who returned from other provinces and cities have been asked to home isolate for 21 days.

Similarly, people who returned from Hai Duong and Quang Ninh have also been quarantined in Hai Phong. People that returned from outbreak areas in Hanoi and Ward 4, HCM City's District 11 are quarantined at centres or at home.

People who returned from Bac Ninh, Hoa Binh and Bac Giang must fill in medical declaration forms and be transferred to quarantine centres. For people who returned from Binh Duong Province, they will be transferred to quarantine centres if they are from Phu Hoa Ward in Thu Dau Mot City and An Binh Commune in Phu Giao District.

Nghe An and Ha Tinh also ordered a mandatory quarantine for people who returned from 14 communes in Quang Ninh, Hai Duong and nine areas in Hanoi that have Covid-19 outbreaks. People that visited high-risk locations announced by the Ministry of Health on January 15, where a confirmed patient visited before, must be quarantined.

Danang also announced that people returned from Hai Duong, Quang Ninh and affected areas in Hanoi, Hai Phong, Bac Ninh, Hoa Binh and Gia Lai must be quarantined. People who think they had been in contact with a confirmed patient must report to the local medical agency for consultancy and suitable measures.

Nguyen Thi Mong Ngoc, director of Phu Yen Province People's Committee said she strongly urged the residents to fill in medical declaration forms. Depending on the situation and each person's health that different quarantine measures are applied.

As of now, suspected patient and people who have been in close contact with a patient will be quarantined at medical facilities. People returned from outbreak areas and other cases are brought to quarantine centres. People returned from other areas, visited high-risk locations or have just been discharged will be home isolated.
