According to Quang Nam Province’s border force, one tank was found on a beach in Binh Son District’s Binh Thuan Commune and the other in Duc Pho District’s Pho Khanh Commune.

The metal tanks which are still sealed are five metres long each.
According to the Chinese labeling and warning sign outside the tanks, liquefied petroleum gas is contained in the tanks.
The local border force saw an iron float at the beach in Binh Chau Commune. The float is 4 metres high and has the diameter of 2.5 metres. There are also some Chinese words on it.
The equipment has been secured on the beaches to prevent them from drifting out to sea again. Local authorities are inspecting their origin.
On November 7, people in Quang Nam Province also saw a liquefied petroleum gas tank on a beach of Dien Ban Town.
