A representative of Hai Chau Ward People's Committee confirmed on May 30 that city authorities were working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident, which occurred at a café on Le Hong Phong Street.
According to local officials, the incident took place on the evening of May 29 while the café was serving a large number of customers.

Witnesses said the man suddenly began shouting and damaging property inside the premises, prompting employees and several customers to run outside for safety.
Photos from the scene showed overturned tables and chairs, shattered glass doors and damaged equipment scattered across the floor. Broken glass and other debris were also seen on the pavement outside the café.
Officials said emergency responders and local authorities quickly arrived at the scene, evacuated customers and nearby residents, and secured the area.
The man was later restrained and removed from the premises by authorities.
The cause of the incident, the extent of the damage and the man's identity and nationality remain under investigation.
