Vietnam Airlines to launch daily Danang-Singapore flights on November 17

Vietnam Airlines will launch daily direct flights between Danang and Singapore on November 17, bringing its total services between Vietnam and Singapore to 42 return flights a week.

The new route will be operated using Airbus A321 aircraft, with flights departing Danang at 3 pm and Singapore at 7.45 pm local time.

The national carrier currently operates 14 weekly return flights between Hanoi and Singapore and 21 between HCM City and Singapore.

According to Vietnam Airlines Deputy General Director Nguyen Quang Trung, the new service would improve access to central Vietnam, including popular destinations such as Hoi An, My Son and Hue, while supporting tourism and business travel.

Singapore remains a key Southeast Asian tourism market for Vietnam, with visitor arrivals from the city-state rising 29.8 per cent year-on-year in the first nine months of 2026.

Danang's beaches, resorts and cultural attractions are expected to benefit from the direct connection, alongside growing business travel linked to the city's planned international financial centre.

Vietnam Airlines is also expanding its international network in 2026, adding routes to Amsterdam, Colombo and Phuket, with Hanoi-Ahmedabad services scheduled to begin on November 3 and Hanoi-Hangzhou flights on November 22.
