According to the forecast, from today until tomorrow, June 2, Ho Chi Minh City will continue to experience moderate to heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms. Total rainfall is expected to range from 90mm to 150mm, with some places receiving more than 150mm.

By June 3, thunderstorms in the region are expected to ease in both coverage and intensity. Rain will be scattered and concentrated mainly in the late afternoon and evening. However, from June 4 to June 5, rainfall is forecast to intensify again across a wide area. Many places could see moderate, heavy and very heavy rain.

The meteorological agency warned that heavy rain could cause flooding, along with whirlwinds, lightning and strong gusts. Residents are advised to monitor weather bulletins and avoid travelling through deeply flooded areas.
