On June 1, Dantri/Dtinews Newspaper, in coordination with Garment 10 Corporation, the Tuyen Quang Department of Home Affairs and Cao Bo Commune People's Committee, inaugurated the Dantri Bridge in Thac Hung Village, Tuyen Quang Province.

The bridge spans the Nam Ma Stream and measures 34.89 metres in length and 3 metres in width, with a load capacity of 7.6 tonnes. Total construction costs were approximately VND 1.7 billion (approximately USD 65,400). Garment 10 Corporation contributed VND 800 million (approximately USD 30,800), Cao Bo Commune provided VND 40 million (approximately USD 1,500), while the remainder came from donations by Dantri/Dtinews readers.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Dantri Editor-in-Chief Pham Tuan Anh expressed gratitude to provincial authorities, local agencies and residents of Cao Bo Commune for supporting the project.

Pham Tuan Anh also thanked Garment 10 Corporation for its continued partnership. He noted that Dantri has built 32 bridges in disadvantaged communities nationwide, with eight receiving support from the company.
"The enduring support of Dantri readers, organizations, businesses and philanthropists, particularly Garment 10 Corporation, has enabled us to contribute in a small way to localities facing difficulties," he said.
Than Duc Viet, General Director of Garment 10 Corporation, said the company has worked alongside Dantri for more than a decade, but this was the first bridge inauguration ceremony he had attended.

He expressed hope that the bridge would not only improve transportation for thousands of residents and students, but also create new opportunities for trade and economic development in the area.
Nguyen Van Duong, Chairman of the Cao Bo Commune People's Committee, said residents of Thac Hung Village had faced transportation challenges for many years, especially during the rainy season.

"This project has practical significance, helping ensure traffic safety, facilitating travel and goods transportation, supporting production activities and improving living standards," Duong said.

To mark the bridge's completion, Dantri representatives and local authorities presented 20 gifts, each worth VND 500,000 (approximately USD 19), to disadvantaged households in Thac Hung Village.

Since April 2024, with support from readers nationwide, Dantri has partnered with local authorities to begin construction of 278 charity homes for poor and near poor families across Vietnam, with 239 already completed.
In addition to housing projects, Dantri has helped build 60 classrooms, 32 bridges and rural roads, and 100 flood resistant floating homes. The newspaper has also organized 36 free medical consultation programmes benefiting nearly 7,000 people, donated 7,210 health insurance cards to disadvantaged students and launched fundraising campaigns to support nearly 6,000 families facing exceptional hardship.
