The move followed the municipal Department of Labour Invalids and Social Affairs received the information that many staff at Hanoi Nursing Centre for Elderly and Disabled Children located in Ba Vi District had stolen the centre’s donations.

According to the two women, the products donated by guests in the late afternoon so they did not inform the centre management board, but took them home for their children. This was the first time they did so.
“We will strictly co-operate with authorities for the investigation,” Hong added, noting that violators were requested to make detailed reports for what they had done.
Chairman Chung urged to submit the investigation result to the people’s committee before October.
The city’s Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs has been asked to tighten control over other local humanitarian centres.
