According to Vu Van Vinh, contractors have completed geological surveys along the entire route. Design work has also been finalised for Le Thi Rieng Station (S5) and Pham Van Bach Station (S10), while preparatory construction activities are already under way.

Full-scale construction of the remaining stations is scheduled to begin on August 1.

"Land clearance has now been completed, while the relocation of technical infrastructure is largely finished. Under the current schedule, Metro Line 2 will be completed and enter commercial operation in 2030," Vu Van Vinh said.
