The pedestrian zone will operate every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 4 pm to midnight, covering the Central Flower Garden and Haiphong Opera House area.

The city has tasked the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism with coordinating preparations, including establishing a task force, organising cultural performances and developing a digital food database in partnership with Foody-ShopeeFood.
Authorities also plan to connect tourism, hospitality and food businesses through the platform, while introducing a feedback channel for residents and visitors.
Other departments have been assigned to oversee food safety, traffic management, public security, sanitation, public facilities and urban infrastructure to support the new pedestrian street.
The initiative is part of Haiphong's broader strategy to expand its night-time economy and improve visitor experiences.
