Located in Quy Nhon Nam Ward, Gia Lai Province, Vung Chua Mountain has become a popular destination for visitors seeking panoramic views of Quy Nhon. Near the summit, visitors can admire the bustling coastal city, its sweeping shoreline and the distant Phuong Mai Peninsula.

With lush green slopes, winding mountain roads and open spaces, Vung Chua has been dubbed the "Dalat of Quy Nhon", offering a peaceful escape from the busy coastal city below.

Early mornings and late afternoons draw residents and tourists to the mountain for exercise, sightseeing and fresh air.

Decades-old pine trees shade the mountainside, creating a picturesque setting reminiscent of Dalat.

Huynh Thi Ngoc Nhu, 30, a resident of Quy Nhon Nam Ward, said she regularly jogged up Vung Chua in the morning to enjoy sweeping views of Quy Nhon at sunrise. She praised the cool air and said many people visited the mountain to walk and exercise.

Groups of students, including third-year students from Quy Nhon University, also visit Vung Chua to exercise and unwind after classes.

From above, high-rise buildings line Quy Nhon's crescent-shaped coastline, contrasting with the blue sea and surrounding green mountains.

The Vung Chua area is also part of the proposed Ghenh Rang-Vung Chua international coastal resort urban development, covering nearly 2,900 hectares. The project is expected to support urban growth and tourism development in Gia Lai Province.
