Hanoi unveils boundaries for nearly 300ha Ba Vi Safari Park

Hanoi has announced the planning boundaries for the proposed Ba Vi Safari Park, a project covering approximately 299.5 hectares in the city's western outskirts.

On October 31, the People's Committee of Ba Vi Commune, Hanoi, published a map showing the location and boundaries of the proposed safari park, in accordance with a decision by the municipal government.

The project covers approximately 299.5 hectares, as defined in the location and boundary map attached to Decision No. 5648 issued by the Hanoi People's Committee.

Developed by Sun Group, the project is located in Ba Vi Commune, about 60km west of central Hanoi. The site lies outside Ba Vi National Park and is separate from its protected forest areas.

The park is planned as a combination of ecological spaces, wildlife conservation, nature-based experiences, environmental education and tourism services.

Green spaces and water bodies will account for 81.8 per cent of the park's total area, interspersed among different functional zones. They are intended to serve as ecological corridors, provide suitable habitats for animals and create nature-based experiences for visitors.
