According to an official document from the ministry, the 67 landed at the Tan Son Nhat Airport on an Asiana Airlines flight departing from South Korea on February 4 and were allowed entry by authorities at the airport.
"All those people need to be quarantined in 14 days to prevent the possible spreading of the Coronavirus," the ministry said. "Authorities in HCM City should isolate them at their homes or hotels under the monitoring of health officers. They also need to have a list of people who have met those passengers for further monitoring."
On February 5, Tan Son Nhat Airport denied entry for 286 passengers who were found having stayed or transited in Coronavirus-affected areas in China. These passengers had all been carried back to their departing locations the same day.
