The Hanoi municipal government has requested that all local authorities and officials strictly declare their assets and incomes for 2012.
Departments and district agencies, as well their subordinate agencies, will be required to make public detailed lists of assets and incomes from the year.
Communes, wards and towns must also send reports on incomes and assets prior to next January 31.
Departments, districts and township agencies must send their reports before next March 1.
The municipal Department of Internal Affairs will be responsible for gathering their reports and the supervision of the implementation of the rule.
The department must also make final decisions on anti-corruption in the city and submit a report to the municipal inspectorate prior to March 1 of next year.
The city’s inspectorate has been assigned to inspect the asset and income declarations for this year.
