The police at Bo De Ward, Long Bien District, have detained a young German man for questioning after he robbed a motorbike and vandalised people's properties on Bo De Street.
The German man was taken to a police station
At around 3am on April 7, many people were awakened by a young man accosting two people on a motorbike. He then proceeded to steal the bike. After racing off on the bike he ditched it in a lake and turned his attention to attacking a shut internet cafe.
The damaged Honda Civic
He then turned his attention to a Honda Civic with its engine left as the owner had left the vehicle to open their gate. The man stole the vehicle and drove down towards Nguyen Van Cu Street. He crashed with a taxi before reaching the street. He was later apprehended by local people and taken to a police station.
