According to the police, Vu has been missing from his home for a period of time, so have issued the notice.
Earlier on the evening of December 21, the police carried out a search for Vu’s house in Danang City for his alleged land management manipulation.

Vu, 42, is a well known real estate tycoon in Danang. He is the chairman of Bac Nam 79 Construction JSC and former chairman of Nova Bac Nam 79 JSC and The Sunrise Bay Da Nang Project. He owns many well-placed land plots in the city. He also has two famous floating restaurants on the Han River.
Before 2017, he kept a low profile but since early this year his name surfaced in the media as he was believed to be involved in a lot of property projects under police investigation.
By mid-this year, the public has raised concerns over violations in public property management in Danang.
In September this year, the Ministry of Public Security requested Danang Chairman Huynh Duc Tho to co-operate with the ministry to provide information on licensing procedures and allocation of public houses and land for organisations and individuals in the city since 2006.
The ministry has also urged municipal authorities to jointly investigate the purchase and leasing of nine property projects including An Don Park, Harbour Ville Urban Area, Phu Gia Compound, and Da Phuoc International Urban Area, as well as 31 public land lots and houses in Danang.
Among the nine projects, five have been defined to be related to Vu.
