The Tay Ninh Provincial Military Command said its teams had recovered 24 sets of remains in Pailin Province, 19 in Banteay Meanchey Province, 11 in Tboung Khmum Province and four in Kampong Cham Province.

Officials said the results were achieved through sustained field operations, verification of information and close cooperation with Cambodian authorities, security forces and local residents.
The Vietnamese teams have also stepped up community outreach efforts to gather additional information about the locations where Vietnamese soldiers may have been buried.
The information will be used to verify leads and expand the search during the 2026-2027 dry season.
The recovery work forms part of Vietnam's ongoing efforts to locate and repatriate the remains of soldiers who died in Cambodia during wartime.
