The Quang Tri Province Military Command said on September 23 that it had recovered six more sets of martyrs' remains in Quang Tri Ward, Quang Tri Province.

The remains were found at a construction site within the grounds of a bank branch in Quang Tri Ward, with bone fragments mixed among bricks and stones.
During the inspection, authorities found several military artefacts, including a hammock, an ammunition crate, AK ammunition boxes and a backpack. After recovery, the remains and accompanying artefacts were preserved with due care and incense offerings by local authorities.
Earlier, in the same area, authorities had recovered two sets of remains along with several artefacts.
