Witnesses said two buses crashed into each other at the Nguyen Van Linh – Huynh Van Luy intersection. One bus, owned by Forster electronic company, was carrying dozens of workers from Di An township to their workplace in the city's Vietnam – Singapore Industrial Park, while the other was transporting 36 passengers.
The Forser electronic company bus overturned, trapping injured workers inside the bus. After being rescued, they were brought to Binh Duong General Hospital.
A hospital doctor said many victims were injured in the head, arms and legs, while others suffered from nosebleeds, chest pains and shock.
