Authorities in the southern central province of Binh Dinh are preparing quarantine areas for Covid-19 prevention for 343 Vietnamese citizens who are returning from Japan.
A quarantine area for Covid-19 in Binh Dinh Province
According to the Binh Dinh Provincial Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, the province will receive 343 people who are returning on several flights operated by the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines to Danang International Airport from March 17.
They will be sent to some quarantine areas in Quy Nhon City and Phu Cat District for 14 days for Covid-19 prevention following regulations from the government.
Vietnam aims to repatriate over 3,800 Vietnamese in March after nearly two months of suspension following the appearance of several new coronavirus variants.
