250-kilo bomb unearthed in Ha Tinh Province

Military officers in the central province of Ha Tinh have safely defused a 250-kilo bomb found by local people.

The 1.5-metre MK - 82 bomb was US-produced.

The 250-kilo bomb found in Thach Ha District

People in Thach Ha District’s Tuong Son Commune found the bomb when digging a pond a few days ago.

Local authorities zoned off the area and the bomb was moved to a shooting ground for being defused.
