Danang residents worry about safety in deteriorating apartment building
Residents at an apartment building in central Danang's Son Tra District are worried about safety due to poor construction quality.

Another resident, Tu Thi Dui, said his apartment had suffered severe leaks.
"Water leaks from the bathroom of the apartment above us through our ceiling," Dui complained. "The leaking becomes a big problem during the rainy season as much rainwater leaks into parts of the walls. Our walls or flooring always smell musty or mouldy."
Speaking at a recent meeting, a representative from the Danang Construction Department said they plan to restore and upgrade the state-owned building with an investment of VND5 billion.
