Tuyen added that local authorities are committed to facilitating construction progress and ensuring the new homes are ready for the families to move in by August 31.
One of the beneficiaries, Ngo Thi Dung, who is still recovering after more than three weeks of treatment and surgery at Ba Vi General Hospital, was overwhelmed upon receiving over VND 126 million (approximately USD 4,950) in donations from Dantri readers to build her new home.

Similarly, Chu Thi Ha shared her relief and gratitude. Two years ago, the local government proposed a grant of VND 50 million to help her rebuild her house, but her family could not afford the matching funds.

“Now, thanks to the support from Dantri readers, I can finally start construction. My children and I, along with my grandchildren, won’t have to endure life in a leaky, deteriorated house anymore,” she said emotionally.

During the ceremony, Dantri also presented 20 scholarships worth VND 500,000 (approximately USD 20) to local students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have excelled in their studies.
