Most areas are forecast to see sunny spells during the day followed by rain and thunderstorms later in the afternoon and evening, with some places experiencing heavy downpours.
Authorities warned that thunderstorms could bring lightning, strong winds and hail, posing risks to agriculture, transport and infrastructure. Localised heavy rain may also trigger flooding and traffic disruption.
