The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance adjusted retail fuel prices from 3 pm on February 26.
Under the decision, E5 RON 92 petrol increased by VND 890 per litre to VND 19,520 per litre, while RON 95 rose by VND 1,000 to VND 20,150 per litre.
Diesel went up by VND 750 per litre to VND 19,270 per litre, kerosene gained VND 850 to VND 19,460 per litre, and mazut fell by VND 180 to VND 15,680 per kilogramme. Authorities said they did not allocate or draw funds from the Petrol Price Stabilisation Fund in this adjustment.
The latest move marked a return to rising prices after one downward revision. Since the start of the year, petrol prices have increased five times and decreased four times.
By the end of the third quarter of 2025, the Petrol Price Stabilisation Fund held a total balance of VND 5.617 trillion for 27 key traders, up nearly VND 3 billion from the previous quarter.
