They have also expressed confidence that the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party would continue to guide the country toward further achievements.
Alongside cooperation in politics, defence and security, both sides are working to advance economic collaboration, expand trade, and strengthen infrastructure connectivity as a foundation for sustainable development. Numerous Vietnamese-invested projects in Laos, spanning energy, agriculture, telecommunications, and infrastructure, are delivering tangible benefits to Laos’ development and contributing to shared interests.
Vietnam and Laos are also closely coordinating on strategic infrastructure projects, particularly in transport and energy connectivity, to facilitate trade, investment, and broader regional integration.
During the December 1-2 trip, the Party chief is scheduled to attend events marking the 50th anniversary of Laos’ National Day and co-chair a high-level meeting between the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party.
