Patients are released at Quang Nam General Hospital on September 4.
According to the Ministry of Health, as of the morning of September 4, Vietnam has gone 36 hours without reporting any new virus infections.
"The total number of Covid-19 patients in the country remained at 1,046 of whom 691 are locally transmitted. 35 patients have died of the disease," the ministry said.
The same morning, hospitals in the central province of Quang Nam announced the recovery of 13 patients
Deputy director of the Quang Nam Provincial Department of Health, Mai Van Muoi, said that all these 13 patients have tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 for four consecutive times and were now in a stable condition. They will be further monitored for 14 more days following the Ministry of Health's regulations.
As of Friday morning, Quang Nam has gone through 16 days in a row without reporting any new Covid-19 infection cases in the community.
Since the new outbreak occurred in the neighbouring Danang City on July 25, Quang Nam recorded 96 patients and so far 43 have recovered.
